This is now a parking garage run by a private entity, which is used heavilly when there is a huge show at the DCU Center (Octagon building in upper-right of image). Today, it's mostly a dead parking garage, and plans are to revitalize this area, by removing the mall, and half of the larger garage (Red Section). This will be sad: too see a world record holder cut in half (and 2 elevators gone), but in the end, more highrise buildings, and possibly, more elevators to ride!
